Not at all. It’s just well organized. You see and identify and put your hand on what you need.

Your girlfriend is unaware of the existence of OCD.

Your girlfriend is completely unaware of the effects of OCD on life. Perhaps she ought to study the DSM before making diagnoses.

@Cabby If girlfriend believes that a neat kitchen is ocd, she must be a slob or a worthless cook.

OCD is a serious mental illness that enrages people who have it. Joking about OCD being neat is like making jokes about schizophrenia or PTSD. It downplays the struggles faced by folks who have those conditions.

@Eminem She is serious; she isn’t joking. I was not amused by her charges in the slightest.

@Nidal That someone believes that correctly storing cutlery is a sign of OCD amazes me. Big warning sign!

Large oof. You should come inside my kitchen if you want to see how disorderly things are organized. That is just untrue.

It appears to be an entirely typical kitchen. Not in the slightest bit OCD.

That she ever uttered anything so off-base is concerning.

This is typical. How does her kitchen appear? I’m intrigued.

Ouch! If this is ocd, I would dread to see what your girlfriend’s kitchen looks like . This appears to be a typical, tidy kitchen.

No, neat isn’t the same as OCDL.

OCD is characterized by compulsive behaviors that you don’t want to do, such as checking locks ten times, or by unwanted, obsessive thoughts, such as “This terrible thing will happen if I don’t do this.”
