I hope you feel better and don’t give up on juicing!
I’ve been juicing for 35 years but never for a ‘cleanse.’ Moderation is key, and I always include plenty of vegetables, not just fruit.

Thanks! How do you usually incorporate juice into your diet?
@Lake
I follow a mostly plant-based diet. I have veggie juice with dinner about five times a week. A typical meal might be a salad, pasta with mushrooms, homemade bread, and a glass of juice with beets, kale, carrots, cucumber, celery, ginger, and turmeric.
Juice on an empty stomach can spike blood sugar quickly. Drinking green juices instead of fruit-heavy ones would help.
Also, diabetes takes years to develop. One juice cleanse isn’t going to cause it.
@Thorn
I think my body just wasn’t used to that much sugar. I’ll keep the juices as an occasional supplement instead of a cleanse.
