Prepping fruits and veggies ahead of time instead of freezing juice?

I’ve made more juice than I need and tried freezing the extra, but I don’t like the taste after it thaws.

Has anyone tried prepping fruits and veggies in advance—cutting them up and storing them in the fridge or freezer—without juicing them first?

Did it work well? Any downsides I should know about?

Thanks!

That sounds like a good idea. If you freeze them, you can thaw them quickly in a bowl of water before juicing.

Just make sure the produce is fully thawed before juicing, or it could damage your juicer. If you’re looking for a way to store juice without freezing, you might want to try a mason jar vacuum sealer—I can make juice a week ahead that way.

@Ashton
I always thought vacuum sealing would help, but I emailed Goodnature and they said it doesn’t actually extend the shelf life of juice.
