I’ve already placed an order for Wilson Art Drama Marble laminate, but I’m changing my mind. Although they haven’t measured, the setup is set up, so I might be able to make an adjustment. My kitchen has a faux brick backsplash (seen on the left and right of the laminate piece) in neutral light and dark beiges with some white, and my kitchen cabinets are Sherwin Williams Pure White (seen on trim piece), which is fairly warm. Given all the other colors, I now fear that the white in the Drama Marble would appear odd or blue. I need some guidance quickly! The Silver Shalestone is kind of my thing. (are not good) My kitchen floor is the wood underneath as well. Any thoughts?
I have new respect for WilsonArt. I recently used it in a commercial job and was very pleased with the outcome. Make sure the base is nice and thick so you get a good size edge.
I like you counter choice a lt…why not run it up the wall for the backsplash. It will be stunning all by itself.
The backsplash and the laminate seem to be in competition with one another. They both have a busy schedule. The majority of us here advise selecting the backsplash following the installation of the countertops. If you can, I’d look into more subdued countertop selections.
The backsplash and counter with the lighter top choice!
Have you bought the backsplash already? Are you steadfast in your decision?
@Anne Is it possible for you to reconsider the backsplash? Anne, huh
The lighter option is preferable to me. Your flooring are quite beautiful.
In a little gallery kitchen, keep things simple.
You shouldn’t have chosen that backsplash, especially with that countertop.
Is there a SW Pure White sample door available?
@Jason I’m kind of hooked on the backsplash made of stone. LOL
