You ought to be able to locate a replacement on eBay.

Is there a leak? If not, simply apply a glob or line of epoxy. My pourover carafe tapped against the counter and developed a tiny crack. Though I attempted an epoxy repair, I fully anticipated to just order another one. worked like a pro. Although it isn’t attractive, it adds personality. Yes, the epoxy on the surface isn’t in contact with the food, but after the resin dries, it’s safe to eat, so I’m not sure whether that really matters. To be honest, I wouldn’t want to eat off of epoxy plates.

Purchase a replacement vessel.

When something goes wrong with the blender I purchased from Costco, I simply return it for a complete refund in store credit and purchase a new one—occasionally even at a discount!

That blender is the identical one I own. How did it break?

@Eminem Stress is brought on by vibration. Ninja is aware of the issue but is unwilling to address it.

@Gordon Despite this, their blender is among the best available for a very fair price.

@Hudson If you have to replace a Vitamix or Blendtec three times in its lifetime, is it really worth spending half as much money?

@Jason Well, no, I suppose not if you really use one enough to require those replacements.

It’s great if you use the blender infrequently, like I do, about once a month.

@Hudson Okay, so I guess I was having tunnel vision when it came to my use case. In addition to other things in my Vitamix, I make protein smoothies for two people four to seven days a week, and it hasn’t malfunctioned in six years.

Certainly, once a month does not justify the $400 price tag.

Strange. For me, it had the reverse effect. I suppose it’s fortunate that I’m not a blender.

Most likely a dishwasher. Certain plastics are particularly vulnerable to the extreme temperature swings.

@Keller Nope, my girlfriend didn’t even own a dishwasher, yet her Ninja performed the exact same thing. It is merely mechanical strain.

@Kristen You got it. Over the years, I’ve observed this more in the plastics I use in the dishwasher, but stress could also be the cause!
