Aid! Removal of under-counter appliances

Hello to all of you.

I must take down the old washing machine and the dishwasher next to it so that I can access the pipes and other components because my elderly mother needs a new one.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove them. There isn’t any room to hold or remove them even though they are seated on wooden slats.

I would be grateful for any advice.

Beep, boop, beep. using words to appease bots. I’m hoping that some geniuses will think less of me for asking.

The machine will lower and emerge once the feet are adjusted. It’s going to be bloody hefty and possibly tricky because it’s Miele. Excellent device nevertheless. They simply carry on.

@Ramsay I can move the feet to create room, but how am I going to be able to physically grab something to pull out?

@Nidal I fear brute force and ignorance. Open the washing machine door by removing the integrated door, inserting your hand into the top of the drum, and pulling. Miele are among the heaviest, as I mentioned, so it won’t be simple. All of the Miele manuals are available online.

@Ramsay This is how it’s done!

@Reafe After removing the washer, I discovered that the pipes and cables had become tangled around the dishwasher’s back. I’m unable to see how to move the dishwasher to the right, which is necessary in order to move the washing machine any farther.

@Nidal I believe there are two or four screws that secure the dishwasher to the worktop’s underside. If the kitchen installers had used the included screws, they might have been T20s (torx). After removing the screws, drop the legs, open the dishwasher door, and then pull out, using whatever hold you can get from the inside top of the appliance.

Just to be sure, turn off the water to both appliances.

@Ramsay I’m grateful.
