Which countertop do you have?
@Eminem Calacatta Karmelo countertop, white with brown grain. Either that halo gold tile or the green tile with brown undertones are on my mind. I wanted something with a little bit more appeal, but I could have gone neutral with a combination of beige.
@Dacosta Benjamin Moore linen white is the off-white color of the cabinetry. From a distance, the colors are subtle and the halo gold tile has a glossy appearance.
@Eminem A more patterned tile would work because Karmelo doesn’t seem to be overly busy. But still. I would advise you to choose the tile for your kitchen with the lighting after the countertop is installed. These images on the internet aren’t often particularly accurate.
@Gordon This is a wise recommendation. In the end, we brought sets of four distinct tiles home to use as an accent below the vent hood. We taped them up after trying them. We ultimately decided against the ones we initially felt would look well in the showroom because of the lighting, our countertops, and the floor.
Given the constraints of a backsplash, the pattern’s size is another factor to take into account. Such lovely tiles. What dimensions do they have?
@Hudson The tiles are 5 Ă— 5 inches.
