Hello, I am new here.
I bought a wok pan for my girlfriend because she wanted one, and I, the ignorant, simply bought one. So, the problem is that there isn’t a flat spot to lay it down. It requires a “ring”.
Where and how can I find one? My partner has an induction cooker. I read some reviews on the pan, and they stated that it could be used with induction.
I was overjoyed that I could afford to buy anything like this with my money, and I hadn’t considered that it was necessary.
The greatest wok is one with a flat bottom and made of carbon steel. It’s cheap and lasts forever. Easily accessible at most kitchen merchants and online stores.
On my flat top stove, I cook with a cast iron wok. I like it because it has a flat bottom, but because of the thickness of the cast iron, the inside remains spherical, which works better with conventional wok cooking equipment. Furthermore, cast iron maintains heat, reducing temperature fluctuations when adding ingredients to a hot skillet.
