@Salish For four months, I’ve had the identical range—well, almost; it appears you bought the one with some extras. You will never turn around. Another significant bonus is how simple cleaning is.
I also adore the color of the cabinet. With colors like that, it’s easy to go wrong, yet it looks great here.

@Nidal Our old range was recently replaced, and I now have an all-gas stove and oven.
Although our electrical outlet didn’t have 240V, and the electrical contractors wanted $5,000 to run a new line to the breaker, I was also going to acquire the induction.
I think induction ranges are preferable to gas in a lot of respects, having used my friends’.
I’ve cooked with them in both my stainless steel and cast iron pots. It’s incredible.

@Keller We worked with Whispering Pines, a nearby cabinet maker, and we reside in upstate New York. In our area, there are a lot of Mennonite and Amish woodworkers who produce exquisite work at affordable pricing. Black walnut wood; I don’t remember what stain it was.

Those low microwaves and ovens annoyed me because I am tall. I would never want to use an oven smaller than my waist again.
