I adore the feeling of the yard; in my ideal ecomodernist home, the kitchen has French doors leading to a similar area.

@Jason A couple acres are behind the yard. We’re going to remove some undergrowth and around one-third of those pine trees. That will, in my opinion, greatly expand the backyard area and enhance the view from the kitchen.

Placed the sconce in the center before adding the trim? Poor me. I’d take care of that. Why not fully increase the rear splash? Not a lot more tile is there. Beautiful kitchen.

This house was a terrific value for us. I like to call it Monet-filled! My spouse finds such kinds of things quite annoying, but I don’t see them. Since he oversees electrical systems, the initiative is in his hands. Haha
ETA: When we purchased the house in March, it was brand-new and owned by a bank. Until we are ready to fix everything, I’ll make due with what I can because we were able to haggle $52,000 off of the initial sales price.
