Plug in range hoods

Has anyone found a plug for a range hood? We decided against having a microwave/range combo above the stove after getting new cabinets. I have been looking on Amazon and Home Depot for one that has a three-prong plug or one that says it can be used with an adapter in the instructions. Above the range hood, in the cabinet, is an outlet. Not many that I saw had more than 250 cfm. Since we use gas to cook and the previous microwave vent did not work, we are hoping for 300s.

Seek out range hoods that can be converted. These are frequently plug-operated and unvented.

@Anne Still, I want to let it out.

You can “plug-in” any hood by simply attaching a pigtail to it.

@Bailey Yes, but in theory one shouldn’t use an adapter if the instructions state not to do so.
