This weekend, the backsplash will be installed. Do you have any opinions on whether or not we should tile the divider wall?

It will be a bright white, herringbone-patterned 3 by 12" tile.

Personally, I wouldn’t. I also adore your oven and stove.

@Kristen I adore mine too, and I have the identical one! Furthermore, avoid tiling the dividing wall.

@Bailey Fantastic! We adore our Frigidaire range and have no complaints about it, even though our dishwasher isn’t so wonderful.

No. Get some oak, have it milled and varnished (to a color that complements or goes well with the floor), and cover the top and both sides of the divider if you want to make a statement without going over budget.

This was done in the space that used to be our front room, formal dining room, and kitchen, between our main landing and the great room. The wood is cozy, goes well with your flooring, and eliminates the need for wall-side tiling.

DM me if you require an example image.

No, I wouldn’t. It would, in my opinion, create an excessive visual divide.
