Any suggestions on how to use this area? Unfortunately, the cabinet installer and my dad came up with this solution because the HVAC bulkhead over the refrigerator cannot be moved. I was just curious if anyone had any suggestions on how to improve the gap’s blend in.
In order to fill the space, I would have included a filler (a white board that would resemble another “soffit”) that would run from the refrigerator panel to the real soffit. As it is, there is a “filler” board running underneath the cabinet above the refrigerator.
I would have made a little door to hold flashlights or other infrequently used but useful items using some MDF or a custom cabinet door.
Air fryer one one side.
The other recommendations are sound. In any case, I believe that if you get used to it, you won’t find it to be as ugly. I don’t think it will be that noticeable, and most people won’t notice it, unless they are very tall and looking at that location at almost eye level. A decorative basket or other containers that can be used as hiding places is a concept that appeals to me.
You could put yer weed in there
@Gordon That’s hilarious! I can’t stop laughing at how funny that is. It’s just so unexpected and amusing, I can’t get over it!
Use can use it as a Basket.
