@Anne I think “upstand” is the term I was searching for because everything I saw when I searched up splashbacks was considerably taller than this. I like how the wood looks like it extends the counter; perhaps I should do something different above it.

@Bailey Regards! In this picture, I believed the backsplash to be bigger than the wood.

Another option is to just enter “4” backsplash. The two standard sizes are 18" and 4". You just are going to see a lot more 18" since that’s what most folks are doing.
