What juicing recipes help with health and wellness?

I’m excited to start juicing all the green veggies! I’m in my 40s and looking for recipes that support gut health, hair, skin, nails, hormone balance, and joint health with anti-inflammatory ingredients. What combinations do you recommend? Thanks for sharing your tips!

Welcome to juicing! Here are some of my favorite combos:

  • Red cabbage, apple, and cucumber: Great for reducing inflammation.
  • Celery juice: Amazing all-rounder for gut health, skin, and hormones.
  • Beet and apple: Perfect for energy, liver health, and skin. Beets might even help with hair growth!
  • Carrot juice with apple and cucumber: It always makes me feel fantastic.
  • Pineapple, apple, and cucumber: Very hydrating and helps with digestion. It tastes so fresh!

For celery juice, try drinking 16-32 oz on an empty stomach in the morning. Strain it for better results if you’re focusing on gut healing. :green_heart:

This is so helpful! Thank you for all the details!

These suggestions are fantastic! I also recommend adding kale to a daily green juice. Beets are amazing for energy and cardiovascular health, especially before workouts. If you have kidney stones, though, you might want to be cautious. I like combining beets with pomegranate juice for an extra boost!

Purple cabbage and celery are excellent for gut health. Watermelon and cucumber are super hydrating, while beets cleanse the liver and improve circulation. Lemons are a must—they’re a natural cure-all. Don’t forget berries like blueberries and cranberries for their antioxidant power.

Lately, I’ve been enjoying this simple mix:

  • Two big handfuls of spinach
  • One small peeled lemon
  • A piece of ginger
  • One orange
  • Two apples

It’s refreshing and tastes great!

My go-to recipe:

  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 grapefruits
  • 4 carrots
  • 2-3 apples
  • 1 bunch of celery
  • A bit of turmeric

This makes about 700-800mL. I fill jars halfway with this mix and top them with fresh celery juice every morning. Love using mason jars with flip-top lids!

You can use apps or tools to find juicing recipes tailored to your needs. It’s a great way to explore new combinations.

Here’s my daily favorite:

  • 2 apples
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/4 butternut squash (peeled, seeded, and sliced)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • A slice of ginger root

This makes 16 oz and tastes like a Creamsicle. Great for gut health too!

I prefer juicing fruits because I don’t like their texture but love the taste. My favorite combo is:

  • 1 lb strawberries
  • 5 kiwis
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 Fuji apples

This makes a few days’ worth of 8 oz servings. Sometimes I add ginger, but my partner prefers it without. It’s great for skin and overall energy. For greens, I enjoy kale, kiwi, lime, and a Granny Smith apple. Celery juice cleared up minor eczema for me, but I’m looking into its effects on sun sensitivity.

Do you peel the kiwis? I hadn’t thought of juicing those before!

Yes, I peel them since I can’t stand the fuzzy texture, but some people juice them with the skin for the added nutrients. Kiwis are amazing for juicing—they have so many benefits, and I can feel the difference if I skip them!

These recipes are great! Is it okay to store juice for a day or two? I’ve read it’s better to drink it fresh.
